There is a flared base and a geometric pattern laser engraved around the bowl

a sheet of sandpaper on a hard flat surface can be used to flatten the bottom rim of the platter

Slightly thicker bottom to make sure that the bowl is weighted lower and more stable

and include a 2" section that has been cut down to a 1/4" tall tang

I called this one the "Party Platter" due to its size

Boxelder Natural Edge Bowl Unlisted There is a flared baseLightly spalted natural edge boxelder bowl, finished with Mahoneys Walnut Oil. This bowl was turned to have a slight inward turn towards the top half of the bowl. The natural edge is a result of the shape of the outside of the log it was made from. The natural edge lends to an organic natural look flowing with the grain lines. It is 5. 5 overall diameter, and 3 overall height. The bowl portion is 5 diameter, and 2. 5 deep.
