It is hard to see the tear on the actual half title page - it looks like a crease in the page on that side

A Young Deer seems to have been the most loved & read as it has smudges on the pages & the marks from the pages being slightly bent in the middle still show

The Secret of the Old Mill has wrinkles in the plastic coating on the back cover - a flaw of the printing process I believe
