Sankey sculptures dating from the period of either the 1874 or 1881 revivals in England. Each is shown flanked by a pedastal and having their Bible and Hymn Books respectively. These are the larger version and are as unusually well painted, each piece Staffordshire produced being finished by hand. They measure an imposing near 17 inches each and are in a very fine state of preservation
