The earliest Gibson Ripper basses (1973 1975) do not have pickup mounting holes. This pickguard will not fit an Epiphone manufactured instrument even it does have the Gibson name on the truss rod cover. Made from shiny black plastic material, 1. 5mm thick with a straight outer edge (no bevel).
