but the edge of the waistband is serged which is uncommon in home made items in the 1960s so I think it is factory made and the tags removed when the waist band was made smaller at some point (there is some evidence that it was taken in and shortened at some point

Vintage Mid Century Mink Collar 1950s style but the edge of theLuxurious mink collar that can tacked onto a coat. The way the hook is attached, the collar sits up in a "wedding ring" style that was very popular in the 50s and 60s but you could easily mover the hook to have the collar sit in more of a V style as I have shown in the photos. It is in very good condition and backed with a very nice quality chocolate lining. It is 31" long and 4 inches wide.
