Its small deep green foliage densely packs its red stems and turns an attractive bronze in winter. Tiny pink flowers bloom in late spring and are followed by large dark red cranberries with a tasty tartness ready for harvest in mid fall. Grows best with full sun and moist, well drained acidic soils, but can tolerate wet and boggy conditions.
