This album documents Queens historic headline performance at the inaugural Rock in Rio festival, on 12 January 1985. The festival was held from 1120 January 1985 at Rios Cidade do Rock. Queen headlined the opening night on Friday 11 January (technically 12 January), and returned to the stage a week later, headlining on 18 January (technically 19 January). The audience for both nights exceeded 250,000 people.
